2016 vintage. Dark ruby with orange rim. This seems to be at its peak now. A complex nose with flowers, red and black fruits, and a hint of rosemary. A fresh and elegant Haut-Médoc with very good length that sells for a song (15 euro). Abv. 13,5%.

Really crushable for a Haut-medoc. I love a good Margaux but most of mine are still aging and waiting for an occasion. This is a $20 bottle of a Cab/Merlot Bordeaux, drinkable immediately on a random weekend. Definitely needs some time to open in a decanter though. Not as much body perhaps, but generally well balanced and this bottle was tapped in no time.
