The review mentioning movie theater buttered popcorn over a blackberry crumble had me questioning that person’s sanity, then I smelled it again and SHE’S RIGHT DAMMIT. Couldn’t believe it. Anyway this is a great wine. — 5 years ago
Acid and dry, contrast to the acrid and sea spray of the Mediterranean coast on which we dine. Tobacco on the nose, but that may be the guy smoking the cigar next to us.
Truly this is a good northern Italian red. We thoroughly enjoyed it with a dinner of sea bass — 8 years ago

Really crushable for a Haut-medoc. I love a good Margaux but most of mine are still aging and waiting for an occasion. This is a $20 bottle of a Cab/Merlot Bordeaux, drinkable immediately on a random weekend. Definitely needs some time to open in a decanter though. Not as much body perhaps, but generally well balanced and this bottle was tapped in no time. — 2 years ago
