Darkly floral, the 2022 Rosso di Montalcino opens with a blend of grilled herbs, exotic spices and steeped plums. It's a racy and fruit-forward effort with masses of ripe red and blue fruits swirling across a lively acidity stream. This tapers off with medium length and gently tannic, leaving a lovely resonance of inner rose. (Eric Guido, Vinous, September 2024)

Medium+ body, high acid, with notes of tart cherry, leather, baking spices, and tobacco. Paired great with Osso Buco. — 3 months ago

Considered the star of the CdA lineup, and similar to their chiantis which all have some Merlot blended in, but this was too much Merlot for me - had that plasticity I don’t love — 2 months ago

Medium ruby in color; cherries, tomato leaves, and tabacco on the nose; high acidity; medium tannins; tastes like red currants, raspberries, black paper, dried herbs, and clay pots with a long finish. I love this wine, but Nellie didn'tlike it. — 15 days ago
