Manhattan Wine Company recommendation — a day ago
At the recommendation of @Billy L. -interesting rose and I like it - vineyard is Mediterranean coast in south France - a blend that could possible be able to age - cab/ Grenache/ Cinsult / Syrah - refreshing but definitely a citrus bomb with grapefruit and almost a SB color versus rose - will try again - smiles all around - with WNH group on Sunday Zoom tasting — 4 days ago
Color is light copper, trending more orange-yellow.
Nose has Clementine peel, cold apricot, orange oil, warm strawberries, sea salt and sliced peaches.
Palate has peach, dried orange, dried sage, dry sliced almonds, minor saline notes and orange zest. Long finish, continually evolving, actually just tossed this intro a decanter as I think it will benefit.
Fun wine, can easily understand it's prowess and popularity, it's in the zone for us as well.
Paired with sugar/salt rubbed Cod cooked in the sous vide bath, then topped with sauteed shallots/capers, aside parmesan/panko spring peas. So yum! — 7 days ago
The 2019 Miraval Rose is sourced from their 500 hectare vineyard that is set in valley in the ancient village of Correns in the center of Provence. A blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah, and Rolle, the vineyard is set on limestone and clay soils. A light dusting of salted damp earth combines with pretty rose water and melon tones on the nose. The palate is fresh and wonderfully textured, showing layers of bright melon and red fruit flavors with a great veil of tension. Fantastic now, this beautiful effort will cellar well over the next seven plus years. Drink 2020-2027- 91 — 17 days ago

Lovely wine with melon notes and pleasant residual sweetness — 20 days ago
A rare rosé that’s not dominated by primary fruit. This has rosehip, orange peel, mineral salt, peach, dried lavender and herbal, woody notes. Oak tannins. Palate is so lively, textured, broad but tensile, and the finish is looong. Delicious. Second time’s the charm (first bottle was corked) — 3 days ago
Half bottle. 30+ minute decant. Definitely a top echelon nose - perfume, flowers (violets?), dirt, dark cherry fruit etc. Well balanced wine on the palate with dark fruit and a perfect combination of richness and finesse. Medium plus finish. Aging potential but don’t give too much air. Paired great with Chinese food. All the reason I’ve been buying this wine for the better part of a decade!! — 7 days ago
