Red wine lover. An Epic Journey that never comes to an end.
This was beyond lovely. As a cabfranc fan, this drank incredibly well. This blend has a richness to it. It has enough age to have well defined tannin structure yet enough acidity to go for years to come. Opulence comes to mind. Look forward to my next go around with this one — 18 hours ago
Guilty pleasures. Donelan wines are amazing. This is no exception. Smooth and silky with blackberries and raspberries. Tannins well integrated. A true delight @joedonelan Yum This cuvee is an unbelievable gem at sub $50. Keep the great wines coming. — 7 days ago
Ok. This is my personal favorite wine, no matter the vintage, varietal or the dollar value. If i was granted one wine forever, this is it. As a Rhône warrior it exceeds expectations, and drinks like an amazing burgundy. Still young, no nose upon opening. An hour later this massive floral nose permeates though the rum of the glass. Tannins not fully integrated yet with a pleasant acidity. Time is beyond its friend. Earth tones are present along with expresso and tobacco. Red fruit front and center with a long finish. Wish this could be everyday Allday. — 5 days ago
This was amazing. By far the best Cos I’ve enjoyed to date. Stinky burnt goat hair on the nose. Incredible mouth feel with elongated finish. Completely well rounded tannins. Wonderful experience. Burnt raspberries on the pallet. Yumalicious — 12 days ago
This was quite a surprise. While not the giant backbone you’d expect from a Cali cab, it had a nice Viscosity on the pallet and a longer finish. The tannins not fully integrated for its age, with a higher acidity level. Drank more like a Bordeaux blend. — 8 days ago
