Bright lemon color with stone and tropical fruit aromas and floral citrus scents. On the palate flavors of pear, apples and peaches with lime citrus zest and notes of chalky salinity. Well balanced with pleasant lively acidity, long finish ending with mineral, citrus and wet stone nuances. Very nice! — 14 days ago
Checking in on my birth year 1978. Still doing well - a bit smoky but not over the hill. Maybe it can last to 50…? — a month ago
La masía translates as "the farmhouse," which Marimar Estate was designed to resemble. Medium Ruby with aromas of red fruits, dried herbs and earthy spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with toasty notes and herb cinnamon spice. Full-bodied, fine soft textured tannins, long finish ending with juicy fruit and spicy herb character. Nice! — 2 months ago
Drinking in 2024. Inky with rich dark cherry jam. Cedar notes and tight tannins that open up over the long finish. — a month ago
A favorite as it has sentimental value. Solid Tempranillo. — 2 months ago
Here’s the thing: this is good wine. It’s dense, chewy, and structured. There’s a nice balance of red and black fruit, graphite, cedar, mushroom, soil, and just a touch of Brett funk. It’s fairly tannic, so probably best with food, but can still be enjoyed on its own. I would never be mad if I was offered this. I was lucky to take home an open bottle from a job tonight, but I think the price tag on this is ridiculous. — 2 months ago

Fresh and light. Peach notes/stone fruit. A little too simple for me. Good quaffer. Nice acidity. — a month ago
