The 2019 Rosso di Montalcino is dreamy, wafting up with dusty rose, crushed cherries and sage. This flows across the palate with ease, energetic and lifted with a solid core of ripe wild berry fruits that slowly drench the palate in youthful tension. A coating of fine-grained tannins remains offset by a bump of residual acidity, tapering off spicy and long. This is maturing beautifully in bottle. (Eric Guido, Vinous, September 2024)

The 2022 Rosé Sancerre teases the senses with curry leaves and crushed rocks before revealing crushed nectarines. It's soft and round with a balancing core of saline minerals. Crisp white pit fruits give way to lemon oil notes. This finishes dry yet thoroughly fresh, with a chalk sensation nicely offset by a bump of residual acidity. Creamy lemon, some dank umami-ness and thick mousse. Off the beaten path and great with a caviar bump — 2 years ago
Bellissimo! This blew the doors off: inky w/gorgeous aromas of foresty woodland berries, darker fruit, spice, pepper, lavender & garrigue… intriguing beguiling. Med to lighter weight but wore it well with lip-smacking dark berries and warm spices on palate. Finish was a bit disjointed but I’d like to revisit in a year or 2. Bump for QPR — 3 years ago

What a gem! Rich ruby w/mild bricking at edge: gorgeous nose of dusty red & black fruit and tons of secondary notes - anywhere from coffee, tobacco, cassis, licorice & cocoa to dried herbs & minerals, very finely delineated red berried fruit at times, vein of minerality cutting through nose & palate. You can smell & taste the Tempranillo & Merlot individually. Med bodied w/finely grained tannins, regal bearing, integrated acidity and lingering finish. Going back to buy whatever they have left. Bump for QPR. Great chance to taste mature wine in the pocket — a month ago
