Primarily Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts of Merlot, Malbec and Petite Verdot blended in. Dark ruby color with purple highlights. Aromas of black berry/currant/cherry with additional notes of dried figs and tobacco. Dark fruit also on the palate with hints of dark chocolate, plums, roasted nuts, sweet spices and earth. Lovely hint of graphite on the long finish. Full bodied but so savory well balanced. Velvety tannins. Thanks for sharing this one during Super Bowl LIX, Mark S! — 5 months ago

Black cherry, mulberry and mandarin orange fruit, with black tea and violet notes. — 2 months ago
Got better as it opened up, but some rough edges — 3 months ago
Lovely, albeit typical Napa Cab with deep berry and vanilla notes. Not much tannin or complexity. — 6 months ago
I beg to differ on my prior rating. With some airtime, this comes into its own. Places merlot on a different level. The cab franc gives this structure and presence. No rush to consume. Nice acidity and cherry compote on the mid palate. Finished luscious and moderately sweet. — 2 months ago
ちょっとお高いカリフォルニアのCS。うきうき税込4680円の2016年もの。うーん❤️、ボルドー信者には無理かも知れませんが、個人的にはかなりの高級感。香り、凝縮感、アフターすべて申し分ないです。

We are into the 10 year old wines this weekend. And as we are heading to Walla Walla, we thought to give this wine a try after it was been in my cellar for more than 10 years. And…. hmm, a bit disappointed. Had expected much more complexity, layers of flavored and endless finish. Nope. Nice wine though, smooth, balanced, great vibrancy but, yeah, still single note and I don’t think there is more to discover with aging. — 16 days ago
