Sleep much better than I expected it’s the Grateful Dead addition and it is terrific big-time fruit taste ! — 2 years ago
Primarily a Sonoma Zin. A touch of Petite Syrah and Carignan are added. Big black cherry and boysenberry fruit with hints of licorice and black tea. Lots of exotic spice flavors on the finish. Medium bodied. Fresh and juicy, but balanced and especially smooth. Great compliment to barbecue. — 4 years ago
Some slight shock and awe after tasting this 27 year old Zin, one of the first made by Ehren Jordan at Turley. Translucent, ochre colored with a big nose of creamy dark berries and vanilla. Surprisingly light on its feet while being super-rich on the palate (and carrying 17% abv). Almost a port-like finish. Few signs of age other than the slight tint and concentration. Outstanding! — 6 months ago
Excellent spicy Zin to go along with lamb ragu with mint and jalapeño and big rotelle cooked al dente. — 3 years ago
This is a blend, but hit all the high notes I love about Zin. Bright big red berry jam and black pepper! — 9 months ago

This truly is an awe inspiring wine. Big and bold as is typical of Turley but the 13 rattlesnake ridge Zin is in a league of its own. Lots of slathered blueberry but also has a flavor profile that can be best described as an old school Grenache based chateauneuf du pape. Just a beautiful wine. — 3 years ago

Big, bold Beckstoffer Cab. Not as elegant as the 2014 but a serious wine for enjoyment. — 24 days ago
