They blended all the Roussanne into this super cuvée as it was a difficult vintage. But man is this wine not difficult. It’s freaking outrageous. Honeycomb, melon, exotic cardamom and clove spices. Just knockout aromas. Palate is top .01% finesse. Just the best. No one makes Roussanne like Gilles. Juicy, nimble and dense with that classic bitter backend. Just so pure. Great wine. — 10 days ago
