Golden hay color. Banana, peach, pineapple, honey, apple, pear on the nose. Rich and buttery on the palate. Lychee, vanilla, cream. Distinct palate, but I prefer a less oaky chard. — 3 months ago
One of the best Sorella I have had. Tannins and acid unwinding with primary black and red fruit still showing side by side with dried versions. Fig tar cedar vanilla leather menthol and violet all swirling around. Won't get better than it is now and it's gorgeous. — 24 days ago
2007: Wow. Phenomenal Chateauneuf with tons of character. Viscous, very rich, nicely concentrated with plenty of minerals and funk to balance the still-persistent purple fruit. Can’t imagine this getting any better with more age but plenty left. — 21 days ago
Amazing! Rich with good intensity hitting all notes. One of my favorite Champagnes this year. — 5 days ago
Rich and velvety- violent, red fruits, blackberries. Excellent with steak and goat cheese mashed potatoes! — 2 months ago
The 2010 Montrose is one of the highlights of the Icons of Bordeaux dinner. It has a show-stopper nose with powerful, intense, mineral-rich black fruit, becoming quite floral with aeration. Potpourri hints complement tobacco notes. The palate is fresh, vibrant and weighty, yet paradoxically, it has wonderful finesse. There is a symmetry about this Montrose, coupled with a tremendous length that leaves you wanting more. Brilliant. Tasted from an ex-château bottle at the Icons of Bordeaux dinner at Legacy Records in New York. (Neal Martin, Vinous, May 2024)

Haven’t had wine in a while but bought this after a wine tasting at the Classic Market Senoia . (Pairs well with Samoas Girl Scout cookies). Very sad times in America tonight. Wine reminding me of beauty. This one hits right. — 12 days ago
