Terrific daily drinker. Typical earthy vibes from the Willamette Valley. — 10 days ago

Super ripe black cherries on the nose and a hint of oak, medium body with so much ripe fruit, but good acid cuts in md gets your tongue tingling, with tannins that follow and linger. Lush but complex, not just an Aussie fruit bomb. — a month ago
This was from last Friday night at a gathering of friends we opened the 2010 Andrew Will Ciel du Cheval Vinyard Red Wine. A Bordeaux Blend of 52%Merlot and 48% Cabernet Franc.
On the nose was black cherry, raspberry, cassis, chocolate, violets, graphite and dusty soil.
On the palate was good dark fruit, black cherry, blackberry, plum, black currant, licorice, bell pepper, spice, mocha, minerality and earthiness.
This wine is medium to full bodied with mediu + acidity and medium fine tannins that lead to a long dusty dark fruit finish. This wine seemed to be the hit of the night and was enjoyed by all. Please be safe and have a great weekend. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 3 days ago
I was taken back by this wine. It’s sophisticated, not too overpowering, fine earthy tannins, a steal for the $23 I paid. — 23 days ago
Sagrantino from Swan Hill, Australia. Dark garnet colour. Generous nose of spices, black fruit and a little lavender. Palate rich and full, blackberry and blueberry, savoury salty mineral notes and grippy tannins, finishing long with chocolate and smoke. Not as ripe as the 12 but a lovely wine. Drinking well now after 9 years. — a month ago
