Special Cuvée Brut Champagne Blend

“Bolli” Always great !
Paired with Fines Claires !
On the nose roasted nuts, creamy mousse, citrus, toasted bread, concentrated fruits on the palate, dry, minerality, mouth filling, stone fruit flavors, just love it! 93 DSP

Brut Champagne Rosé 2002

Gorgeous stuff. Delicate nose of strawberry and floral notes. The palate is softening but has great tension and minerality but delicious berry fruit. A long way to go but this is lovely — a month ago

Brut Blanc de Noirs 1er Cru Champagne Pinot Noir

Popped and poured. In the glass, a bright, golden peach color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, some marzipan, rose and brioche. The palate is electric; laser-cut with lime citrus, citrus pith and absolutely loaded with limestone minerals. Super fresh with bracing acidity. The finish is long and zippy. This is not what I expected from a BdN…but I like it! Disgorged February 2017. — a month ago

La Closerie Fac-simile Extra Brut Pinot Meunier Rosé Champagne 2017

Don’t mind the label! Easily, along with Selosse, my favorite Rosé. IMO, there’s those two and then everyone else. Probably a common consensus. I love the bracing acidity and tension that compliments the super rich strawberry & raspberry fruit, chalky minerality and sea spray salinity. There’s superb midpalate intensity and density, that’s concluded with a finish that just doesn’t let up. It will certainly age very well, but it’s so enjoyable now. Begs for a Burgundy glass. — a month ago

I love his La Closerie but haven’t had the rosé. Have you tried Ulysse Collin’s rosé? Extremely unique and very vinous. Toes the line between red burgundy and rosé champagne.
