Pennrose

San Benito County Greco 2019

Lovely American Greco that looks like it was skin fermented and has the character of that style of wine but a slow press was implored here. Lots of acid and texture and great length. Excellent — 13 days ago

Turley

The White Coat San Luis Obispo County White Rhone Blend 2012

Almond paste, apricot and vanilla on the nose. Lychee, peaches and cantaloupe notes. Mid-weight wine with some nice heft and a mouth watering finish. In a terrific place right now. — 2 days ago

Guido Mazzucchelli

San Venz Lessona Vino Rosso 2012

Lovely wine combining the delicacy, elegance, & finesse of Alto Piemonte nebbiolo and the concentration of appassimento grapes. Haunting nose, velvet palate. Supremely elegant. Cherry heering, soft tannins, dense fruit, medium finish. Needs upwards of 2 hours in the decanter, but 2012 is drinking beautifully now. — a month ago

Rhys Vineyards

Family Farm Vineyard Pinot Noir 2015

Dark rubi robe, asian spices and dark fruits on the nose, medium bodied, complex, elegant, long and top notch pinot. We think its too young and still has some baby fat to shed. Try in 2024 or 2025. Its a great bottle that requires time. — a month ago
