Quite dark. Dark fruit, herbal, medicinal notes. Medium to full bodied, tannins. — 10 days ago
This Andalusian producer does a wonderful red, so jumped at chance to try the blanco, & what a treat, especially for 13$. Solidly medium to big bodied, notes of white flowers, savory lemon curd, & verbena. Begs for food. Made by Luis Perez, who apparently does an old school, non solera aged sherry as well. Unfortunately paired with yet another Mets loss… — a month ago
Lemon zest to the face and tropical fruit notes. Nice salinity, super refreshing.
Very easy to drink and great summer sippee. — a day ago
When winemakers devote themselves to the mastery of one grape, every bottling from top to bottom tends to be exceptional.
Such is the case with Raul Perez and his consistent ability to make Mencia bloom.
Vico is aromatically rich and complex. Cedar, new leather, blackberry, black currant, cinnamon, cocoa, coffee.

Floral and dark fruit on the nose. Super complex, getting all different kinds of tasting notes with each sip. Blackberry, black cherry, wet sand, and a savory note that reminds me of herbs and olives and a touch of smokiness. The fruit is ripe but it still has a very bright acidity, maybe a touch too much for my tastes, smooth tannins and lingers on the palate for awhile - medium bodied. It may not be the best tasting wine I've ever had, but it is definitely one of the most refined and complex and was very enjoyable to drink! — 19 days ago
