Didn't break low 50's to your west in the Berkshires today, and believe it or not, I eyed this same bottle today but didn't pull the cork.

Classique Seneca Lake Dry Riesling 2021

Clear deep gold. Abundant, genie-like nose of baked apple and birch. Medium palate confirms the nose -- the apple is green -- with a hint of ripe pear and mineral notes with solid, medium-plus acidity tempered by the barrel treatment. The Classique draws from the top vineyards around lower Seneca Lake, and the result is among the best the Finger Lakes has to offer. Excellent all-around white for rich seafood, pork, or poultry dishes, and especially the Thanksgiving table. Drink now 2021 through 2026. — 7 months ago

Finger Lakes Gewürztraminer 2021

A bit boring out of the fridge, was clearly too cold. But when it got closer to room temp this was really pretty good. Bit of that lychee goodness coming through, nice chalky minerality, and a nice finish. — 9 months ago

Finger Lakes Dry Riesling 2022

Another solid vintage of this benchmark FLX Riesling. Light golden color. Aromas and flavors of green apple, peaches, citrus and white flowers. (No distinct petrol note). Nice mineral touch on the finish. Vibrant acidity and nice length. Medium bodied. Fruit forward but delicate and bone dry. Solid. Thank you for sharing this one with us, Kevin Z! — 3 months ago

Aroma: Petrol, freshness, crisp, grass, meadows, what you would imagine gushing river water to smell like

Argetsinger Vineyard Dry Riesling 2017

I’ve had several bottles now of this delicious “Finger Lakes GG.” All sorts of minerals and damp limestoney earth (much like in Chablis) on the nose. Some crisp appley fruit. Dry, intense, clingy, and minerally in the mouth. Deep fruit as well. Long and so well balanced. Grazie, fratello! — 8 months ago

Light gold color. Pineapple and petrol on the nose. Massive 4th of July sparklers with a sweetness component on the palate. Medium minus depth and medium finish. Very enjoyable. My best bottle of this wine and vintage. — 4 months ago

Really like this, musky, tropical fruit notes in the very strong finish. One of my faves from our finger lakes wine trip! — 5 months ago

Finger Lakes Cabernet Franc 2020

2020 vintage. Wow. Medium ruby color. Red fruit aroma. Flavors of raspberry and strawberry jam, herbal note (lovage?), some bell pepper with moderate acid, little tannin depending on the temperature. Give it a moment, it will open up after 10 minutes in your glass. — 9 months ago
