Vintage Port Blend 2000

Jan A

Just because it's 25 degrees outside doesn't mean that I cannot enjoy a good glass of port 🔥

Already starting to develop some amber colors and complexity but still has a well defined core of primary fruit. Killer nose of wet cardboard and autumn leaves. I'm now going to sink deep into this bottle 🍷😂 happy weekend everybody

20 Years Old Tawny Aged in Wood

Very good! Similar to my favorite port - Kopke. Caramel in color and flavor, but has more alcohol and is less refined. Definitely packs a punch, but love the overall approach and style. — 21 days ago

Vintage Porto Port Blend 1977

Beautiful aromatics, with kirsch & candied fruit, a bushel of spice, nutty notes. Incredibly fresh and pure though.
Smooth on the palate, with a touch of tannic grip, amazing fresh, juicy acidity and still the presence of fruit, after 44y, amazing.
Truly stunning!

Great rubi reserve, functions like an LBV with all the tell tale port stuff. Excellent QPR too. Well worth it. — a month ago

Bin 27 Reserve Port Blend

Blended from multiple reserve wines. Intense plum and strawberry fruit characteristics with touches of baking spices, black licorice, dark cocoa and black raspberry. Toasty notes due to being aged multiple years in wood vats. Fresh, Rich, Ripe and bold. — a month ago

20 Years Old Tawny Port

Very fresh & enticing with fresh figs & mandarine peel in the forefront with some nutty toffee & melon caramel in the back and a pinch of black pepper.
On the palate this is nicely balanced with sweet raising fruit and a nutty, spicy finish. There’s a touch of tannins and good length.
The nose does promise more than the palate delivers and I’d love to have more depth & precision here, yet this remains a delicious after-dinner treat!
