Pleasant easy drinking — 3 months ago
Dark fruited, oak and tannin structure still, nicely rich with complex flavors and still loads of grip, unlike the 1998 SS, this still needs more time, but BIG potential, the 1998 SS drinks beautifully tonight, this still needs more time!! — 5 months ago

Juicy red fruit, hibiscus, black tea. A tad on the hot side. — 5 months ago
Floral and rich redfruit aromas and flavors, very youthful still, nice structure, excellent depth, need 5-10 more years based on this bottle, wow!! — a month ago
Paired with Midlake’s Van Occupanther. A perfect pairing. The complexity is a 91, but with the album it calcifies the memory of both. As for the actual wine, the cork was dry, but the wine is alive, — 2 months ago
So, Freedom Hill PN has always been a wine that always was so tannic and structured, that it was easy to mistake for a “weird” Cabernet back in the day. This 1999, nope, is nothing like that, yep, a little more structured, but effusive redfruits and lovely balance, definitely on point tonight!! — 4 months ago

A red fruit orgy on the nose . The nose plays right thru to the palate and is joined by spice, earth and cola. Great balance with an acidic saber. — 5 days ago
