Gorgeous mineral fresh nose. Very clean. A mere hint of gooseberry.
Palate is very clean and mineral. Simple. Some green apple. Some grip. As it opens delicious. — 4 months ago
So much depth to this Chardonnay from the McLaren Vale region — 5 days ago
2021/5/3-4 with Ningbo stewed pork with red fermented tofu and yakitori, itadori and mayonnaise, warabi and takenoko yaki onigiri. I was both curious and nervous about this considering my experience with the Montestefano. This also started out a bit ponderous and volatile, but on the second day it had calmed into a nice, bitter cherry dolcetto. — 3 months ago
Super Tuscan worthy of the name...a blend centered in the Sangeovesi genre'...this is a full-flavored, big, balanced, dry and tasty wine, a fine rendition of the berry. Big dry dry dry and notably bold on the palate with a dark purple color, aromatic berry-plum nose, this vino is a softly powerful and refined. Evident tannins yet balanced astringency and finish...very likely great with red meats and pasta with marinara. — 2 months ago
Tons of dark fruit flavour. Full-bodied and peppery. Paired well with charcuterie platter. Needs to be well aerated. — 3 months ago
