Interesting white blend great for an afternoon luncheon in the mountains of Lebanon! — 18 days ago
A blend of 30% Mourvedre, 30% Consult and 40% Syrah. Batroun District.
Pale, rosey pink. This offers a deep nose of crushed wet granite and a suggestion of red fruits. On the palate this offers an energetic, mineral tinged, savory character that echos a few Catalan reds with extended skin/lees contact I've tasted. It seems more about place and soil than fruit and is quite interesting.
My wife described it as 'spicy.' Probably not the best bottle to have been pulled for girl's night!
With more air on day three this shows a dried/crushed rose petal and cardamom note. — 9 days ago

Kicking off birthday weekend with my first Musar experience. Sadly the cork did not hold up but after lots of straining I have some drinkable wine. The nose is extraordinary. Bordeaux profile with pencil shavings and tobacco leaf and a rich dark chocolate. Very expressive. On the palate this wine is mature and beautiful. Mostly aged Bordeaux character but there’s a mix of red cherry fruit and a touch of mint or menthol. Perfect drinking window as a lot of tertiary flavors are driving and the tannins are present but softened by age. — 11 days ago
