Huge nose. Floral. Sickly floral. High toned peach skin. Suntan lotion. White flowers. Even lavender. Even violets. Wow. Kumquat. Sick elegance. A 9.7 nose. Woodsmoke. So so good. Ridiculous nose. Palate is dense and chewy, really opulent but also super chiseled snd pure. No hard edges. Unreal concentration. Loads of citrus fruit and so caressing. Just sick. Amazing purity. Salty. Long long long. Structure to burn and just sicko ripeness but so so delicate. And wow the length is bananas. Gets to every nook and cranny and juices your mouth. Wow. — a month ago
Not as good as the salamander, but in the same league — a month ago
Oh my god. This is singing.
Nose has a bit of age. Mineral. Tropical flowers.
As it opens fucking insane. Indescribably amazing. Perfection. Just hits that edge of elegance.
Palate is crunchy delicious minerals. A kiss of minerals made from Honey. so precise and fresh. Delicious. So balanced.
People who hate on Riesling should be forced to drink this. Like Chablis’ brother from another mother.

Color of dark purple with grey shades on the rim. Nose of oak, dried strawberry, plums, currants, spice, vanilla, aldehyde, and spicy note from alcohol. Nose is nice. Taste follows the nose, silky and mouthful, matured and soft tannins, a bit zesty feeling, well balanced of oak and dark fruits. Tasty. Aftertaste is also long and savory with some more black pepper touch. A gem of Cab — 12 days ago

12.5%. Black Forest Slope, Top Wine Maker, his best vines and his best hill and one of the best years in decades. A no brainer. Apricots, white peach, peach pit, almond blossoms. Just the right amount of acidity. Drink now or keep for up to 10 years. — 3 months ago
