Frankly quite amazing. 12.5%. Tasted first at the winery in Durbach - Baden and then 2 days later a second bottle at a friends home. One of the best Rieslings money can buy. Mandarine, peach, hint bitter, orange blossoms - so long. Great minerality provided by the decomposed granite this area is known for. Traditionally made. This area is unique as Riesling is a unicorn in Baden which is dominated by Pinot. Obviously opened way to early but hard to resist. More big and round like the Pfalz Rieslings and not steely and sharp like the Mosel or Nahe.
