This wine is drinking great — mellow tannins but still some pretty complex and delicious fruit for a 16 year old wine. 80% Tempranillo, 15% Garnacha. — 3 days ago
Took a while for this cellar beauty to open up, but when it did the nose was PROMINENT and complex! Pale cranberry color with a deep ruby core, and light bricking to the edges, THR nose explodes forth with notes of vanilla, fresh leather, ripe plums, fig preserves, cologne like spice, hints of eucalyptus/menthol and violet, with hints of cedar chips over a full body. The palate is dry, but the tannins are smooth, with a surprising clean finish, with cranberry, blackberry and black tea, with lingering woody notes to the finish and a complex blend of florals and leather/velvet/cigar smoke peppered throughout, with maybe more unsweetened black tea at the veryyy end. — a month ago
Medium straw with green tinges. Nice persistent perlage and pleasant creaminess. The nose is pure bliss. Caramel with butter, apricots and pears, honey and apples. Fragrant floral notes along with warm brioche and sea spray.
A very stately and baronial wine from Chouilly in the Côte des Blancs. Rich and well developed at this point. The minerality is so good and the acidity just right. Precise and concentrated with all the depth that you would expect. Very lively and powerful.
The palate follows the nose with honey dipped apples and cinnamon. Chalky notes mingle with the electric citrus fruit. Long, long finish that just keeps going on and on. This still hasn’t hit its peak, it has miles to go. — a month ago
Incredible lively bubble, fruit has fallen a little but still nice pear, lemon, melon taste. Slight toffee. Smells like delicious cheese. — 3 months ago

A fantastic vintage of tondonia. Still showing American oak on the palate but some secondary mushrooms/earth tones emerging. Will hold a while longer and fortunately have several more — 7 days ago
