I'm a Modern Drunkard, predominately beer-focused with a decent grounding in bourbon, trying to expand my appreciation of the noble grape.
Tasty. Lots of those dark fruit flavors of which I am so fond. Vanilla, black cherry, blackberry, then some spicy raspberry on the finish. A nice little cab to pair with early morning Bucs football from London. Plus, it's a hell of a lot cheaper drinking this on my couch than last weekend at Food & Wine at Epcot. — 7 days ago
Tasty. Juicy black cherries, oak, vanilla. A little chocolate? Yeah, just a touch. I'll have to save a bit to go with the ribeye that's been aging in the fridge. — 5 months ago
Happy Independence Day, my fellow winos. Because nothing says "'Merica!" quite like a decent left coast cab with a juicy ribeye right after watching Joey Chestnut crush 71 hot dogs. But this wine probably lends more jammy blueberries and vague chocolate notes than the Coney Island water that served as Joey's accompaniment. — 4 months ago
Gotta drink some French juice whilst watching the French final, non? Hm. Cherries, blueberries, oaky vanilla, kinda sharp tannin, but it's rounding off a bit as it opens. Kinda digging the Froggy grape squeezins. Really coating my mouth and lingering. — 4 months ago
