needed a few more years but has great structure — 5 months ago
Really nice and refreshing. Has some tannins but not overly dry or sweet. Would drink again! — 7 months ago
Langdon thinks this is a great wine for the $9.99 price. It’s growing on me. — 2 years ago
Really like this. — 8 days ago
Medium ruby garnet, quite thin garnet terracotta rim . Quite rich , with ripe red fruits , some tobacco , warm spiciness , cigar box , ripe cassis , sous bois , after a while touch of coffee. On the palate this also shows good roundness with ripe red and dark fruits, cassis , red plum , grafite , touch of earthiness . Balanced acidity and rounded sweet tannin . Quite juicy with a grafite edged finish . Pretty good length. This is at peak now . For now and over the next 5 -8 years. Quite generous and showy , ripe but balanced, a good showing. — 3 months ago

Fruit forward in this full body wine with a nice hint of leather to it. Not bad. — 6 months ago
Medium deep ruby , quite thin garnet rim . Quite a lot of cassis, herbal grafite notes , touch of blackberry , scorched earth , a bit for floral after a while in the glass. On the palate this shows more sweet dark fruit, touch of spicy oak, blackcurrant , dark cherry and cacau . Balanced acidity and sweet slightly grippy tannins , just balanced alcohol . Spicy sweet blackcurrant, grafite tinged finish , decent length. This is still young and quite fruit driven but is enjoyable now with food . Better in 5 years or so and will last well a further 8-10. — 10 months ago

Big fan of everything that Peter Lauer produces. This is 8% ABV and does have some residual sugar which is well balanced by the high acidity. Complex and delicious. — 19 days ago
