Medium ruby garnet , medium terracotta rim . Quite ripe plum , dried blackberry , dried spice , earth , tobacco . On the palate lovely cassis , dried plum, earthy blackberry and tobacco nuance , liquorice touches . Good definition and balancing acidity, fine , slightly gritty but ripe tannins , good length . Fully mature this is still showing well , drink now and over the next 3-5 years . — 5 months ago

Decant for sediment(lots of fine/cloudy sediment) and pour. A majestic tawny dark red color. On the nose: sweet port like with dried plum/cherry, herbaceous, rich soil, mushroom, pepper. Taste: Amazing! juicy, refined, balanced, savory wine with dried cherry, black raspberry, earth, tobacco, mint, and a nice mocha baking spice medium plus finish. YUM! Still delivering at 44 years, and glad to have a few more bottles. — 3 months ago

What an extraordinary nose. Wild strawberry, violets, cherry pop, plums, mushrooms. This is enchanting and dynamic. On the palate light and subtle. Delicate., quite haunting with a pretty spring sweetness. This is lovely. — 6 months ago
