Tasted going on 6 years from vintage and it’s all white St Joseph—rosemary, lavender, candied lime, some umami notes, honey and orange blossom. Great minerality and still-bright acidity. Beautiful! @William Allen - Two Shepherds #deedubcellar #rhonerangers #sonomawine — 7 years ago
Toasty almond, toasted cocoanut, red cedar, blackberry, grilled beef, roses and anemones, arabica, violets, bacon fat, and black cherry juice with a bready aroma contextually. Cassis in a leather-lined cedar. Lively raspberry, tobacco, tar, and sweet licorice in a blackberry reduction. #Trione #sonomawine #block21 #singlevineyard #cabernetday #cabernertsauvignon #cab #sonoma #CA #sonomacounty — 9 years ago
#sonomawine #californiacab #gallo it's so amazing to drink Californian wine history and have it taste so good. The wine is still showing a lot of fruit, typical notes of black currants and cracked pepper. Slightly bitter cranberry, plum skin and sage finish. The back label is very informative. This wine was aged 46 months in Slavonian oak in underground naturally cooled cellars. — 9 years ago
#sonomawine havent had this wine for a wile the price has gone up over the rears but still quality juice! — 9 years ago
Flavors of melon and honey. A nice accompaniment to chicken shush kabobs at good friends the Noce’s for Labor Day. This was a nice gift from our neighbor Carlos. It’s something I probably would not have bought for myself and I’m glad I got to try it. #rosewines #sonomawine — 2 years ago
Ripe red and black fruits sweet ripe tannins. It’s a very delicious wine. It seems a little simple though, not much complexity with no tertiary aromas or flavors and the alcohol feeling for me is on the high side. Very good. #redblend #redfruitblackfruit #californiazinfandel #sonomawine — 6 years ago

Stunning! Tapenade, earth, bacon fat, allspice, clove, cocoa powder, menthol, violet, raspberry, plum @Kieran Robinson #sonomawine #bennetvalley #deedubcellar — 9 years ago
Pineapple-butterscotch, dried lemon, buttered biscuit, pumpernickel toast, chanterelle, lily-of-the-valley parfum. Rich, full mouthfeel with lemongrass, toasted baguette, butterscotch pudding drizzle, lemon oil, cinnamon and a hint of olive brine on an extended wrap! I know I am making it sound fruit-bomb, but it is elaborate without lacking finesse, and hasn't be one the drawn butter soup of others in this price range. #chardonnaystudygroup #chardonnayday #russianriver #sonomawine #singlevineyard #Trione #rrv #chardattack #cawine — 9 years ago
Dried cherry and cranberry with bresaola notes, bay leaf, brown bread, peppercorn. Dried violets, black and bing cherry and dried blueberry intermingle with elderberry and plum skin.
Magnum was better on day two, showing acute complexities unrealized initially.
Great single vineyard wine with depth.

Excellent #brunello - style #sangiovese from VJB in #sonomawine . Lighter interpretation, lovely base of wild cherry, touch of earth and spice and elegant tannins. — 7 years ago
#sonomawine #cabernetsaugvinon #californianwine medium+ aromas of black fruits and toast, medium+ body and intensity of flavors, somewhere between old world and new world Cab due to medium+ acidity and medium+ slightly coarse tannins — 8 years ago
Lovely, intense #pinotnoir from #sonomacoastpinot #sonomawine #chapellet #sonomalove intense primary aromas of raspberry compote, anise, ginger, tea roses and lavender, subtle secondary sensations of vanilla and smoked meats. Medium+ finish, very good complexity. — 9 years ago
Extra silky. Burgundian bliss in a glass. #sonomawine — 9 years ago

This wine poured a beautiful purple. It has a nice nose. Flavors of blackberry, dried fruits, hints of gravel and graphite. Nice tannins also with an ok finish. As the bottle indicates, it is slightly blended with Syrah and Merlot. It seemed to have a slightly European character which I thoroughly enjoyed. For $8 (!!) at Grocery Outlet this absolutely a rebuy. #sonomawine #californiacab #grocerystorewine — a year ago
