Epanomi White Blend 2015

Vintage 2015 / Last tasted two-and-a-half year ago. The wine has a in inviting smell with citrus and vannilla. Harmonious taste with excellent balance. Has gained richness. Partnered with redfish and pumpkin risotto. #greece #malagousia #assyrtiko grapes — a year ago

Glykis Gewürztraminer

Non vintage - a big surprise grom Greece. Attractive smell with Turkish delight and honey. Perfect balance in taste: lively, smooth. Partnered it with French Munster cheese. #greece #gewurztraminer — 3 years ago

Grande Réserve Naoussa Boutari Xinomavro

Vintage 2010 - tasted blind, to fool my Barolo loving friends (@Berry Marinussen and @Noel Geisen recognized xinomavro, bravo). Xinomavro is Greece’s answer to nebbiolo, says Hugh Johnson. Very light colour, minerals in smell, plums. A bit difficult taste, certainly not middle-of-the-road, high in bitters and much power. Lots of character, I’d say. After aeration it’s smooth, though. Very interesting to taste. #greece #xinomavro pff, it’s an acquired taste, says my winefriend. It is 😉. — 2 years ago
