Paleokerisio Traditional Semi-sparkling Ioannina Orange

2016 vintage. Good balance of Brett and non-Brett derived flavors (coming from someone that usually HATES Brett). Hibiscus, green tea, pumpkin seed, tangerine, dried apple, all with underlying foot taste. Actually shows much more complexity and subtlety than most "natural wines" that I've had...but still gets points off for obvious Brett flaw.

Funky on the nose but finishes like it should,...clean!

Oddball but kind of delicious. Orange wine, orange flavors. Slight sparkle. Fennel and other herbal notes. Hint of baby aspirin.

Yes, greek sparkling orange wine. So much funk in the nose but palate is crazy clean...still trying to wrap my head around it- super fun for sure.

Very surprising. Cloves and orange spice on the nose. Bittersweet orange zest, burnt honey taste, followed by a kombucha funk.

Miaaaaam my kind of semic carbonic orange wine replete with pink grapefruit, orange peel, a bit of earthy mushroom vibes and a scintillating fennel and eucalyptus bite on the finish

I would swim in this wine. I’m not kidding. I feel like it would rejuvenate me and my body. Slightly bubbly- soft and delicate. Pinkish orange hue, like a light salmon perhaps that catches the light. Funky with peaches and salt. There’s never been a wine more perfect

weirdest wine i’ve ever had. actually tastes like alcoholic orange soda, or jolly ranchers. slightly carbonated, kind of like an effervescence.
