Third and final time trying the 2017 Condrieu ‘La Petite Côte’ from Yves Cuilleron, a wine I first tried in 2020 and described then as ‘liquid sunshine’. At seven/eight years of age, it might not be quite as stunning as it was on that first occasion, but it’s still a gorgeous, joyful wine full of Amalfi lemon, white flowers and nectarine, with an oily, waxy texture and lovely bitterness on the finish. Definitely better young, but holding up nicely, and I’d buy this again. — 2 months ago

Meyer lemon, sweet ocean water, good acidity. — 21 days ago
Advanced color and oily texture but still very interesting. Tropical fruit like bananas gives this a unique flavor. — 25 days ago
Watermelon, cranberry acidity, charming. Opened up beautifully after 4 hours — a month ago
The perfect white burg vintage! Love it particularly for PYCM. 2017 Caillerets is electric, so defined and expressive, wafting layers of matchstick, spice-tinged yellow fruit, hazelnuts and white flowers. The palate is chiseled, voluminous and concentrated with incredible purity, and a long chalky mineral inflicted finale. It’s still young, but in such a great spot! — 2 months ago
