Sexy stuff here - particularly for 20 bones: deep dark intensely concentrated but not overdone, after an hour or so it began to reveal black fruits, cassis, a hi toned note, tobacco, cocoa, baking spices, against an earthy backdrop. Solid tannins but extremely well-integrated, seamless on palate thru finish. Stood up well to my filet w/grilled polenta. — 8 days ago
The Southold experience asks you reintroduce yourself to familiar grapes. There is no typicity so throw your schooling out the window.Love Just Because is purple brown Dolcetto that smells like sour wild blueberries and beef jerky steeped in iodine. It’s bloody and meaty - metallic and full of salt. Also pulpy and fruity and sour and nothing you’ve seen before. — a month ago
Everything I want from a pinot. A little bit of fruit but predominantly earthy, mushroomy, forest floor aromas and tastes. Nice and light on the palate with good acid and some lingering earthy tannins. — 9 days ago
Light pale lemon in colour. Bath talc and lime aromas, white flowers. Not a hint of Kero. Clean as a whistle on the palate with lime and lively citric acidity. A textural chalky mineral note. Still with a long future. Many good judges feel that this is Australia’s premium Riesling. If it’s not the best, it’s certainly in the conversation. From the Clare Valley SA. — 20 hours ago
@Ron R @Buddy G @Patrick Schultz thank you for all of your good advice! I picked this one for the region, per your advice. It was very earthy at first with lots of acidity. Tonight, it’s so very smooth with lots of fruit on the palate. I will continue to follow your advice and try some other ones. Cheers! — 11 days ago

Really black grenache, dark in the glass, black fruited, earthy/bushy, dried herbs, light spice, savoury with a spread, light but grippy mouthfeel. Perhaps a little muted on the grenache flavours. Could almost be 93. — 4 days ago
