Beautiful Rhone blend from a famous wine consultant! Lots of fruit, medium body - not as heavy as other rhone blends - acidity that dissipates in the finish. Vanilla, blackberry, earth. 2016 vintage was great but can surely stay for a few more years. — 2 days ago
On the nose sweet, spicy, exotic and jammy. Dark fruit, cloves, black pepper, a touch of well oiled leather & sandalwood. Seductive.
On the palate this is surprisingly fresh, lively & savoury - finely polished tannins and juicy acidity define the frame, with meaty fresh & stewed black fruit filling it nicely. Nice purity & definition. This is a very nice wine! — a month ago

Les Amoureux by Xavier Vignon, another single-vintage wine in the Arcane portfolio, is a beautiful embodiment of the southern Rhône from the spectacular 2016 vintage. A blend of 80% Grenache, with the 20% split between Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Caladoc, and sourced from the AOCs of Gigondas, Lirac, Vacqueyras, Beaumes-de-Venise and Rasteau, it’s a fragrant but powerful wine that balances bright red fruit, dollops of garrigue and a smokey character with a good amount of acidity and tannin characteristic of a young Rhône wine. A basic Côtes du Rhône given the blend of multiple terroirs, this is the finest of Vignon’s wines that I’ve tasted to date and it should age well for the next decade. — 2 months ago
Great rhone addition. Beautiful color and nice body. — 2 days ago
@Delectable Wine misspelled name, but I'll take it, I guess.
A fantastic condrieu, and for my palate, definitely drink-now, by contrast to the current drink-by dates on Cellartracker (starting 2021). On the nose: candied ginger, tangerine, honeysuckle, amazing aromatics. On the palate: white-pepper spice, good viscosity, good supporting acidity, lemon oil, ginger, grapefruit pith and mineral oil. Excellent. — 10 days ago
