Very nice. Taking one home! — 7 years ago
Medium ruby core with garnet edges. Aged characteristics on the nose with damp earth, a little espresso, a touch smoky, cinnamon and stewed plums. Medium tannins (6/10) and plus medium body. Dark cocoa on the attack of the palate intermingled with plums, black currants, black cherries and lots of spices. A bit of anise and the Petit Verdot coming through in the medium plus finish. Drink till 2018.

Slight herb aroma. A bit sweet, rich and elegant! Spicy @1700/G(15000), Kenzo R, 191011 — 7 years ago

One of the greatest wines I’ve had the privilege of tasting. Cab franc is a favorite of mine and to enjoy a top shelf to CF in the world is a treat...not much green pepper, more beef jerky and soy sauce than vegetal notes. Powerful even after hours of being open. Worthy of smelling for days (violet, dusted blackberries). What a pull from @Mark Flesher ! I just had to feel like a part of the WNH tonight after I saw their wines last night! @Martin G Rivard @Bill Bender @Shawn R @David L — 8 years ago

Smooth as silk; yet, great structure & elegant finish paired with spinach, shrimp & scallop lasagna in Delta One on way to Amsterdam — 9 years ago

Vintage 2010 | My last 375 ml, curious because I thought it might be too old. Instead: it is g o r g e o u s. Beautiful ripened cab franc smell, as vibrant as possible. The back label says cab franc ánd cab sauvignon. Elegant taste. This wine is from the time Frederic Brochet owned the domaine and wanted to make wines as beautiful as possible. Proof that great wines can be made in Vienne. Biological organic wine, if anyone needs proof that these wines can ripen > this is a great example. Paired with pasta and a improvisation mushroom sauce. — 2 months ago
