Nov 14th, 2021See note from 2015 - this had more pronounced citrus & white flowers on the nose, still oily & viscous, some herbal on palate, citrus pith, tropical fruit, vaguely Condrieu-esque, fascinating wine, lovely expression of Chenin. Has stuffing for another 5 yrs. Sec Tendre

Jan 15th, 2025I couldn't help myself! The chance to compare back to back Chenin Blanc from South Africa and France. Same vintage. Comparable color and body (this may be a shade lighter). Nose is equally fragrant but with pineapple, apricot, and more floral. A bit more sugar, to the point that I would say off-dry confirmed by only 12% ABV. More acidity than the prior wine. Mineral finish.
