Yes it is a Rosé but i stand by my points/rating. Brought from Münchweier in my suitcase to the US. It was a gift. Very hard to find - the winery in Baden/Germany - really - forget - your maps! Right next to the woods of the black forest. Dark for a Rosé and age worthy. Excellent always but especially this vintage. Rhubarb, Strawberries, Quince, Peach (underripe), pomegranate, bitter orange. Tannins from the skins. Who knows were Florian found these old vine Pinot Grapes. Together with Mark Enfields Rosé the best in the world right now and I assume long sold out! — 10 months ago
Ruby with elegant red fruit aromas and gentle floral spice, aged for 11 months in 37% new, 42% 1-year French oak. On the palate flavors of black cherry and strawberry with notes of herbs, vanilla, licorice with wet stone notes. Soft full tannins on a long finish ending with fruit, vanilla and earthy mineral notes. Very Nice! — a year ago
THIS Is NOT ENDERLE and MOLL. It’s Domaine Seven Endele.
Nose: incredibly dense. Cherry. Spice. Dark lilacs. Quite penetrating. Alluring is the word. Hints of pink roses.
Palate: dense cherries. Cherry spice. Maybe a hint of cherry y cough syrup. Savory. Some elegant richness. Maybe a mere hint of stem. As this opens silky texture.
Some dark cherry licorice on the finish.
A bit tight. Better in 2 years or with a decant.
12.5%. Hard to believe is. — 2 years ago
Upon opening unreadable, tart and harsh. Needs about 2-3 hours to open up. Super earthy. Tons of sediment. Very herbaceous. Black forest thyme. Black cherry. Elderberry galore. A tour de force really. Still a ton of tannins - to much? Give it 5 more years? A wine on the edge - tip of the spear. As some of these high end E & M‘s are. I like their wines but not fully convinced of the 2015‘s. Same as with the 2015 Burghs. The hype might not pan out. 24 hours later - this wine needs potentially 10 more years of age - hard to say - mellowed out - orange zest, port wine characteristics, cranberry - still a little rough but for the E&M fans a treat. — 6 months ago
So after sitting for 2 month in my cellar - this is now a 9.5. Tart, touch bitter, dried apricots. Marzipan. Pretty tannic. A skin contact white - what a color! Pinot Grigio. I wonder how this will age? — a year ago
Same vintage as the Buntsandstein. But totally different. This is more aligned with a middle of the road Burgh vis-a-vis the Enderle & Moll which is a class by itself. Cork wet and all the way through and soft. Wax capsule. Cherry nose. Over all really not that interesting. — a year ago
Super juicy. Pinot Grigio. Clean and crisp not our Kombucha type - skin contact! Tannic and quite tart but man is this great stuff. Small pears the ones which used to grow on old forgotten trees. Touch Strawberries. 🍉 Watermelon. It is incredible hard to spit this wine. A class on its own. — 2 years ago
An extraordinary wine of beauty and at the same time wild - a wild beast really. Mostly raspberry notes, crushed marble, tart, cherry. And spice, touch cardamom. Herbs oregano and some thyme. Orange peel. Definitely whole clusters in this one. Needs 1 hour of air. But i would say drink now. A real treat for the E&M freaks. 2016 was across a terrific vintage for them. — 5 months ago

Soo good see previous notes. This rocks so hard it hurts. This vintage is the killer. Ultra juicy. Raspberry galore and some cherry. Great acidity. Very well balanced. — 7 months ago
When i tried this young from barrel - in the cellar of E&M it tasted like a Chardonnay on Steroids! Now very very different. Some skin contact hence golden in color, peachy nose. Don’t drink it too cold! Touch bitter, apricot, ever so slightly oxidized, chamomile, hint jasmine, old grapefruit. Clear. A let’s see what this does wine give it 1h; versus let’s pair this with food. An artist at work. Florian told me some will go to a Michelin place/the chef was just visiting. I am really looking forward to its evolution. Bought a case. A unicorn. Even better the next day - stored under Argon. — a year ago
One can’t really make Pinot better than this. The Buntsandstein aka - colored Sand Stone. Is really a benchmark wine. One can debate the the style but not really the quality. 2015 was a stand out vintage. This comes from old vines. The wine is alive and talks. Yes talks to you:… Kirsch, almonds, crushed marble, black forest thyme, hint orange zest, touch oregano, … this goes on and on as more flavors evolve with air. The wine will probably age another 5-10 years.
An experience really! But not for the middle of the road „ let’s have a Pinot drinker“ - they will be disappointed ☹️.
I think this will outlast the 15’ Muschelkalk from E&M which is more delicate. One of the main issues the wine is hard to come by. Sometimes only 3 barrels are made. Next day eucalyptus and dried figs. — a year ago
A perfect Spätburgunder from Baden — the closest a German Pinot Noir has tasted to Burgundy, and an excellent value at ~$40 a bottle.
Classic Pinot noir flavors of cherry, raspberry, and earth. — a year ago
Very old vines! Kerner from E&M. Cellar tasting in May 2024. This grape is a cross between Schiava & Riesling - And voilà 💥finally a riesling like wine from E&M. I asked for something like this for years!
Very aromatic, skin contact but crisp and clean with no funk, white peach, meyer-lemon, rose apple. — 2 years ago

Actually the Buntandstein. On day 2 really quite nice, a bit of the more cidery quality recedes. Dangerously drinkable. Great acid and mouthfeel. — 5 months ago
