On the palate this is lean in style , with some dried rose , red fruits , liquorice and mint . Quite dry , gritty tannin , balanced acidity . Medium length , liquorice, dried rose finish . 2013 vintage. Decanted and tasted immediately and after 30 mins. Reticent nose. Medium-heavy body. Massive flavors and structure. Wouldn’t open it any time soon. Phenomenal now but so so intense. If you can Potsie it for a decade plus, do so. Another reminder as to why Barolo is the wine of kings. 11.01.24. — 2 months ago

Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from Tuscany.
Deep, dark ruby red colour.
Blackberry, bay leaf and herbal on the nose.
Smooth tannins with dark plums, boysenberry, tobacco and vanilla.
