2021 vintage.
Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from Tuscany.
Deep, dark ruby red colour.
Blackberry, bay leaf and herbal on the nose.
Smooth tannins with dark plums, boysenberry, tobacco and vanilla.
This wine is inexpensive and loves anything coming off the BBQ. — 2 months ago
Considered the star of the CdA lineup, and similar to their chiantis which all have some Merlot blended in, but this was too much Merlot for me - had that plasticity I don’t love — 2 months ago
dried berries, hint of mushroom, alpine freshness. Wait 30 min and woohoo — 7 days ago

Red cherries, raspberries, dried herbs, wet stone, and hints of ginger and cardamom. Lovely and definitely gives me a new appreciation for Barbera. — a month ago
Lovely super Tuscan. Juicy with enough acidity and grip to stand up to smoked ribs. And not too expensive. — 3 months ago

2013 vintage. Decanted and tasted immediately and after 30 mins. Reticent nose. Medium-heavy body. Massive flavors and structure. Wouldn’t open it any time soon. Phenomenal now but so so intense. If you can Potsie it for a decade plus, do so. Another reminder as to why Barolo is the wine of kings. 11.01.24. — 12 days ago
