2017 vintage.
Bright ruby colour.
Raspberry, dried dark flowers, tar and tobacco.
It has a floral and freshness.
Dried cherries, truffles, sweet spices and menthol.
Rustic with earthy richness.
Harvested in 4 sites. Rive in La Morra, Scarrone in Castiglione di Falletto, Baudana and Broglio in Serralunga.
I had a kilo of local fresh Matsutake mushrooms and made risotto with compound truffle butter. — 3 years ago
Balsamic notes with a trace of mint. Barely medium weight with a soft fleshy palate - red cherries, spice and sweet herbs. This palate reflects the fact that 2013 was a good to very good vintage in Barolo. Great length at the finish. The first of 3 from my cellar. — 4 months ago
Village tavern. Very good. — 6 months ago
Nice Barbera. Good value at 20 bucks. Balanced and nice acidity. Restrained fruit. Made to be paired with food - pasta or savory appetizers. Yum. — 6 months ago
Some old Barolo for good ol Italian with an even older friend. Cheers. — 2 years ago
Tasted in a flight of 2006s, it was hard to choose between this one at the Roche. Both great! — 19 days ago
This is dangerously good. The peach and pear flavors are vibrant and just mesmerizing, and it has a nice minerality and good acidity that help balance the flavors out. If you don’t watch yourself, this bottle will be empty in a flash. This is just what I needed to remind me that summer is around the corner, and soon this New England winter will be a distant memory. — 3 months ago

Really nice - bit seems it gets bit too warm during ghe last two or three summer. Bit too aged for his age — 10 months ago
