2021 vintage.
100 % Falanghina from single vineyard in Irpinia, Campania.
Grown in Calcareous clay soil between 300 and 440 meters elevation.
70 % fermented in stainless steel and 30 % partial fermentation in small oak barrels.
Bright, straw golden green colour.
White flowers, herbs, ripe apples and pineapple. It has a great textural richness on the finish.
It spends 8 months resting on its lees.
Quintodecimo also produces Greco di Tufo and Fiano di Avellino……also equally impressive. — 2 months ago
Notes of sea spray, citrus, and almond hit you immediately with subtler aromas of vanilla and cream in the background. Lovely, lesser known white that has some elements of Southern Italian whites and many of a fine Chardonnay. — 2 years ago

Taken to Via Carota in the West Village. Decanted for 8 hours in the hotel room. Deep tawny color. Opaque. Amazing nose that screams old Nebbiolo. Notes of sweet red and black cherries, red rose petals, anise, old wooden desk, black soil and a hint of tar. Super rich in the mouth. Coats the palate. One of the best Barolos I’ve ever had. At peak yet still youthful. This can easily go for another 20 years. Bravo. — 2 years ago
