From Vanderbilt Ave. Wine Merchants. Lemons, vanilla, cake, dandelions, 🤤 — 14 days ago
I bought and drank a fair amount of Allegrini Palazzo Della Torre back in the late 1990s, and always enjoyed them. First time in the past 20 years, this seems a little softer and polished, a little lower ABV (13.5 vs. 14+ in earlier vintages), this is vinified using conventional fermentation as well as some ripasso fermentation (think Amarone drying grapes on straw mats), and has some very nice complexity and length, very nice!! — 8 days ago

Vino que se va expresando con el paso de los minutos, recomiendo decanto! Muy buen maridaje con pato, tártara de jamón serrano y pulpo asado! — 9 days ago
Just an amazing bottle. Of course you always have that Spanish iodine finish but full of purple fruit and depth. — 13 days ago
Founded in 1932 by Isaac Muga Martínez, now run by Manuel, Isabel & Isaac Muga Caño. Deep Ruby, aromas of sweet red and black fruits with pepper spice, unmistakable Muga. 4 grape blend from the Haro district (70% Tempranillo, rest Garnacha, Mazuelo & Graciano), palate shows cherry and currant flavors with espresso, vanilla & toasty oak tones. Soft full tannins, lively acidity on a medium+ finish ending with an earthy mineral character. Nice value! — 2 months ago

2015 vintage. A step up from the El Puntido offering from this producer price wise and hoo boy, is this delivering! Bigger tannins and more concentration throughout. Still a baby tho. Park it at a subterranean level in the cellar for a 15-20 spot. If you just gotta drink it in the next half-decade, you're best off decanting at lunchtime for dinnertime presentation. 5.1.24. — 18 hours ago
