Terres Du Pic

Dizy - Terres Rouges Extra Brut Rosé Champagne 2008

Almost bandol rose-like on the nose. Quite bright… light red cherry with a steeliness and salinity. Young. A little simple but with age may soften into something interesting — 12 days ago

Château Puech-Haut

La Closerie du Pic Syrah Blend 2015

Aroma on this one is much more subtle on the fruit instead embracing dessert flavors of vanilla, chocolate, and butterscotch (maybe a subtle hint of diacetyl). Some oak aromas ground out the deserts. Lots of cocoa on the palette and with mild subdued tannins and a light acidity on the finish. — 6 months ago

Les Terres Roses Bouzy Grand Cru Extra Brut Champagne Blend

very attractive aromas of toasted brioche, raspberry, lavender, and black cherry, and it is dry and inviting, with pure red fruits that fill the palate, with its florality lasting long after the finish, with a cleansing lift of salinity — 23 days ago

Côtes du Rhône Red Rhone Blend 2023

You cannot really ever go wrong with a value CDR selected by Kermit Lynch. Well rounded fruit with subtle tannins and balanced acidity. Quaffable all day long. — a month ago

Moulin-à-Vent Gamay 2022

Forgot to take detailed notes, but this was nice. Not really any carbonic / natural / “new agey”notes, just a solid classically made gamay. Definitely has some structure, opened 4 hours before serving which was good. Didn’t sing on any one dimension of fruit / earth / acid / length / texture but was nice overall. — 2 months ago
