Maestro of St Péray! Complexity, length, energy and precision, things most don’t associate w/ Marsanne and Roussane. Ripe and baked yellow orchard fruits, orange, almond cream, marzipan, coconut, sea salt, crushed rock, acacia, jasmine. Plenty of gras but there’s so much zip from front to back, salty mineral goodness all the way. — 6 days ago
Blueberry, gamey meat, herbs. Awesome wine. — 6 days ago
80% Marsanne / 20% Roussanne (Brut Nature), believe this is all 2013 fruit.
Nose has toasted honey, oxidized yellow apple, risen yeasty dough, crushed rocks, sweet wood...wow better than I remembered.
Palate has lightly toasted bagel, honey drizzle, fresh yellow apple with a great acidity balance, granite chips, full and rich with a very long finish.
Damn I forgot how good this bottle is, yet I should know better, make a sparkling wine from two awesome (non-champagne) grapes and you get this stunner.
Today's yardwork is complete, time for enjoying some bottles in front of a fire in the chimenea! — a month ago
After 3 hours this was singing pure syrah notes. Bacon olive tapenade and big fruit attack. if u see it get one for the price a bargain — 8 hours ago
I have mostly been all up in the reds but damn this is subtle like rain on the fields and bold like limestone coming to dinner — 10 days ago
You gotta keep the app live if I get a notification and have to flip to another app. It’s a huge flaw right now. This flaw evaporates many notes. If I get a notification while I am writing a delectable TN and flip to Twitter or IG then flip back to Delectable (this is on iPhone) the TN disappears and the app reboots. It’s something that needs to be taken care of. Like my twitter, IG screens stay in same position and all work is there. If i am posting and get a notification then I flip somewhere and go back, nothing changed and my work is saved on twitter and IG and other apps. That’s the note as my note for this wine got evaporated because of this flaw. Wine is bonkers. — 21 days ago
Out of a 375mL. Striking purple color looking super fresh. A powerful bouquet of blue fruits, flowers, and bacon fat. Tart blue and red fruits, minerals and smoked meat on the palate. Great acid. Tannins are pretty stiff right now. Long finish. A fantastic pairing with lamb stew. I love how much energy this has! I expect this to have a very bright future ahead. — 19 days ago
Very solid Rhône. So that means excellent fruit, very hearty yet still earthy. Matched up very well with curry dish — 12 days ago
