Second of two bottles. First was a bit muted, second bottle had a more fragrant nose and deeper palate. — 9 months ago

Apricot City! Nice to compare this with Australia’s top version of Viognier, the Yalumba “Virgilius” which we had yesterday and I preferred - definitely better value for money. Richard Hemming MW thought the Stephane Ogier was light for a Condrieu. 100% Viognier, 33% new oak. — 2 months ago

Surprise! Was poked in 2016 and it’s still drinking nicely. Lean more muscular but interesting profile of Pinot that mashes you think about it — 9 months ago

Maximally delicious. Almost too much but not quite so.
Optimal after 45 minutes.
Nose: yellow flowers. The aroma of a perfect peach whose juice is dripping down your chin. A hint of dried apricot.
Palate: unbelievably delicious. Peach. Apricot. Long. Still some mountain stream here. As this opens apricot nectar. Insane.
It’s a lot of wine but it holds together. One of my favorite wines on earth. If you can’t enjoy this, you can’t enjoy life.
