Light straw gold; nice nose of yellow fruits, even including dried apricot; ripe and rich in the fullish mouth with orchard fruit but barely enough acidity to be Chablis. — 8 months ago
Light gold; open nose highlighting white flowers; surprisingly, almost delicate, flowery palate with plenty of spice and orchard fruit and mineral. Grew larger with time. Enjoyed at Club Gascon, London. — 8 months ago
Travel-fatigued, I looked after glass two and discovered it was not Fritz Haag! — 12 days ago
Light gold with a hint of green; explosive nose initially flinty and smoky that then speaks of Puligny; rich, silky, round palate with ripe pit fruit and almost tropical notes with fine balancing acidity and finally a hint of oak. Impressive. — 8 months ago
Light straw; still primary nose of flowers, pit
fruit and mineral; fresh palate adds grapefruit, lime and more mineral at an elevated intensity. Was the balanced finish mentioned? Good juice. First bottle opened was gone, oxidized. The sommelier claimed Stelvin issues. — 2 years ago
Not like the favored semillions recalled from my youth. (OK, with time it’s blossomed up a point to 90.) — 12 days ago
Full gold; nose of citrus and dry flower but with some oxidation, fall apple and distinct spice on the very dry palate. Italian direct import bottle and clearly advanced. — 6 months ago
Flowery nose becoming quite yeasty; very vinous with oversized bubbles and a broad palate with distinct apple fruit. Not trying to be Champagne and delicious. — 8 months ago
Light straw; mineral nose with citrus and pit fruit: this is light on the palate, even delicate and very mineral. Some might like more intensity? — 2 years ago
