A steal at $9.50. Would get again. Maybe even buy a case, etc. Hope we can find it next time! — a day ago
After decanting and letting rest for a while it is a great well balanced wine — 17 days ago
Delicious, well rounded on palette. — 13 days ago
Tannat (80%)/Cabernet Franc (20%) blend. Deep purple color. Dark black fruit aromas and flavors. Hints of smoke and oak. Just a bit of a green note but it incorporates beautifully. Nicely structured, as the Tannat was not over extracted. Tannins are present but not overly grippy. Alcohol is also reasonable at 13.5%. This wine has benefited from aging. My favorite brandy house, but I’ve never tried this expression.
Nose: tropical fruits - papaya? Banana? Nuts - almonds, peanuts, peanut brittle. Intense baking spices - allspice, cinnamon, clove, black pepper. Salted caramel, toffee. Light roast coffee. Bitter chocolate. Boozy vanilla extract. Yum.
Taste: marvelous. A little lighter bodied than the 25 year (from what I recall), but all the same bitter chocolate and salty caramel and old varnished wood - and tobacco. And hot spices. And charred, caramelized orange? Yowzah. Top tier. I’ll have to directly compare to my 25 year and 30 years…but this is remarkable. 97. — 11 days ago
Full bodied without bite. For the price it's hard to beat. — 3 days ago

True story: a fellow Delectable member thought the label was a misspelling from a previous post. I sent an email to the vintner who responded within the day- the label is a play on crack, the drug: like the label, this is fun stuff. Blend of Cab franc, cab Sauvignon, merlot, & something called Merille. Seriously unfiltered so mind the sediment. — 15 hours ago
