Yes, funky and rainy and delicious musk. - at Chris & Mary’s — 2 months ago
From magnum. Partially poured into a decanter and enjoyed over the course of a couple days. Best on Day 2. The 2015 Pritchard Hill pours a deep ruby/purple with an opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing and richly fruited with powerful, heady notes of cassis, blackberries, plum, purple flowers, tobacco, cocoa, some star anise and fine warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and the texture is luxurious. Classic Pritchard Hill character and surely a candidate for top vineyard status if the US were to ever adopt a classification status. There’s a long future here, especially in this larger format. Drink now with patience through 2055. — 2 months ago

Primarily Chenin Blanc with small amounts of Semillon and Grenache Blanc blended in. Light golden color. Expensive aromas of stone fruit, white flowers, flint and honey. Flavors of cooked peaches, ripe apples, tangerine and a subtle mineral backbone. A touch of honey on the long and lingering finish. Slightly creamy/silky texture. (Lees aging?) Vibrant and zesty acidity. Rich and round with a great mouthfeel. Consistently solid vintage after vintage. Appreciate you adding this one to the tasting lineup, Chris B. I need to drink more Chenin. — a month ago

Lemon, grass and a lot of acidity — 2 months ago
Even in an average vintage like 2007 the Bin 28 can still be showing well at 19 years of age. Blackberry and Penfolds Choc mocha. Some herb garden and liquorice. Will not improve but could carry on for a couple more years. — 3 months ago
Light golden color. Aromas of tropical, citrus and stone fruits, fresh herbs and freshly cut grass. Flavors of grapefruit, passion fruit, green apple and melon and nectarines with a slight note of flint/crushed stones. Medium finish and vibrant acidity. Just a hint of RS. Medium-bodied and crisp. Crunchy texture. Crowd pleasing and reliable but not spectacular. Thanks for sharing, Ron B! — 19 days ago
Pale lemon in colour - crystal clear. Probably drinking this a little young even at 7 years of age. Initial funky notes amongst the nutty notes. At 7 years the oak is assimilating with the peach. Great intensity as you come to expect from the Art Series. At least another 5 plus years in the cellar would not be a problem. — a day ago
I’ll drink again. — 17 days ago
A spectacular, powerful wine. Fabulous bouquet. Dark cherries, black raspberries, and dark chocolate. Silky smooth with a satisfyingly long finish. Still has lots of cellaring potential, but pretty fabulous now. — a month ago
Lovely with Pat’s grilled salmon. Last of the bottles purchased from Amazon Fresh before closing. — 2 months ago

Geweldige riesling met mooie tonen van steenfruit. Elegant. Nu wel nog te hoog in zuur. Paar jaar laten liggen en deze maakt je dolgelukkig! — 2 days ago
