This benefited from age and is in a great place. A tiny bit of oxidation, soft acidity, integrated tannins. A real winner and a sleeper surprise. — 3 years ago
Leather - soft notes of dark cherry and mineral notes you would have expected from Howell Mountain fruit. This wine has aged beautifully and is a sleeper on the wine list! — 5 years ago

Haven’t lived until you tried the butchers special of the day,The sleeper vintage, one at this time I bet to be even more showy than the illustrious 2000. It’s simply just ready to go after a short decant wafting from the glass with layers of cassis, black truffle, violets and licorice. This is a wine of texture and elegance, as Margaux should be—It’s liquid cashmere in the mouth with melting tannins and a black truffle and mineral inflicted finale that keeps on going. Superb showing tonight, with still a long life ahead. — 10 months ago
Some of the best sleeper white Burgs are from Pernand and this is my favorite. Have had every vintage since 11. Gorgeous nose. Lemon drop, discreet and sweet wood. Really air, also feral and mineral. Caramel nougat but more in a terroir baby corton charlie sense than a barrel sense. Palate is bracing, fresh and so complete with minerals to burn, sweet wood, green apple and pear and all so refined. Excellent. Wow. With air this is a 9.5. The finesse now is here. — 4 years ago
2018 Starscape Vineyard Chardonnay; rich bouquet; full bodied; great mouthfeel; reminiscent of Kistler; great value at $24 from Last Bottle. — 5 years ago

Definitely not a sleeper wine! — 8 years ago
A sleeper of the vintage, the 2015 Charmail has turned out beautifully. The interplay of intense dark fruit and savory notes yields an expressive Haut-Médoc of character and distinction. Best of all, the 2015 is a superb value. The blend is 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc and 13% Petit Verdot. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Feb 2018) — 8 years ago
Blind tasted. Nose is very tight; star fruit, green apple, hints of poolside vapors. First sip is intense, acidic and tight as well, a few chews revealing structure and contained complexity. A nice buttery and ripe fruit retro really shows the quality of the wine, in conclusion. Very hard to describe - a thinker - that's for sure. Still very young - a sleeper - that's no doubt, pleasure was partly intellectual. I'd recommend to carafe for half a day or to taste the bottle over a few days. Taste around 14 degrees. Sleeper hit #toscanaigt - typical #sangiovese dark fruit + spicy forest floor character all wrapped up in a high-QPR package. #traderjoes — a year ago
A sleeper. Buy a case now. Lightly extracted, the blend is chunky, fresh, Brambly and crunchy. — 2 years ago
The can is convenient but still best served in a glass. I don’t even usually like Sauvignon blanc but this was pretty good. Straw yellow color, gooseberries, bitter almond, slight savory and saline finish. — 4 years ago
Nutmeg and christmas spices over raspberry preserves on the nose. Soft and youthful on the mouthfeel, with bright cherry fruits. Graceful finish with chalky tannins and well balanced acidity. Drink or hold for a couple. Private label offering from lastbottle.com - nice work! — 8 years ago
Total sleeper, 2001 was their first release under this name — 8 years ago

2015. Not sure if wines are still produced under this label, as Gazin Rocquencourt has been integrated into Malartic Lagravière. In any case this 2015 red Pessac-Léognan is a sleeper of the excellent vintage that offers amazing value for money! Highly recommended. — 2 months ago
