I recently tried this semi-dry Riesling from the Finger Lakes at a friend's place (who had recently visited the winery). I liked it so much I had a bottle shipped to me directly from the winery. Crisp apple, lemon, and even somewhat floral on the nose; nice acidity on the palette. This is the best Riesling I've tried from the US. — 7 years ago
I haven't had the opportunity to try a lot of fine champagnes in my day, but this Mumm Cordon Bleu in Reims (Champagne region of France) was fantastique. Knowing how expensive it is, I'm happy to have just seen how it's made and have a little taste ! Not too sweet, just enough bubbles. Yum — 7 years ago
Very fruity. Mango, passion fruit, peach. Good but not for every day. — 7 years ago
I know Médoc is known for some of the best wines in Bordeaux France, so I was disappointed when I tasted this. Perhaps it was "corked" or not a great vintage. Luckily I only bought a tiny bottle and it was a lot less expensive buying it in France. — 7 years ago
Nice acidity, still quite light and fruity. Very happy to try and enjoy this 2016 vintage from Lorraine while in Nancy! My new French wine book from the 30s lists this region as one of the best in Lorraine (but Alsace is a much richer wine region) — 7 years ago
Beaune, Bourgogne is known for the best Pinot Noir in the world and now I understand. — 7 years ago
First time trying a Lebanese wine : very impressed ! — 7 years ago
Violet in color; good acidity; not overly bold; liked it very much with my meal in the Lorraine region of France (even through its from Bourgogne) 👌🏼 — 7 years ago
Smooth. Not too tannic but also not overly fruity. Not sure of the vintage but while in Paris, I want to try wines from new regions, such as Bourgeuil (Loire region). Not the best I've tried but it certainly went well with my boeuf bourgignon! — 7 years ago
