First time trying Sauxums G2.,
Not bad
2014 was Sauxm's first vintage of the G2 vineyard. The 2016 G2 Vineyard is a blend of 47% Grenache, 40% Mataro and 13% Tannat. It was made with 6% whole cluster and aged 19 months in several vessels, including 50% foudres and 30% new oak. — 13 days ago
Winery $165.00.
Bought for $50.00, seems they off loaded to a few different wine stores.
Opened one off the truck on Wednesday, just a splash and let breathe a bit in the fridge then decanted for 2 hours today. Completely different wine. It’s a $100.00 bottle if you work it properly. Wouldn’t pay release price though.

Copy & paste will not format so excuse the incompetence 👌🏼First time having this one, smells better on day 1 by a smidge tastes better on day 2 . Winery notes 35% Fiddlestix, 35% Radian, 12% Bentrock, 12% Sanford & Benedict, & 6% Rancho La Vina. The blend comes from lots that were 89% destemmed and 11% whole cluster. The wine was aged on its lees for 19 months in French oak barrels (50% new) and bottled unfined & unfiltered. We think it is remarkably expressive for such a dramatically scaled, well structured wine, and its silky texture and impeccable balance will yield a tremendous aging curve. Day one too tight,
Day 2 with a 2-3 hour decant is just about right.
Saxum may not be Napa but they know what they are doing,
Best winery in Paso.
Parker Review
RP96 Incorporating more Petite Sirah than normal, and the first time there's been less than 50% Syrah, the 2013 Syrah Broken Stones is made from 48% Syrah, 22% Petite Sirah, 17% Grenache, 6% Mourvedre the rest Tempranillo and Roussanne. Its deep, inky color is followed by a structured, seriously mineral-laced and full-bodied red that offers lots of fruit (cassis, black cherries and raspberries), smoked earth and chocolate aromas and flavors. The tannin is front and center, yet they're beautifully ripe and polished. Give bottles 2-3 years and enjoy through 2028 — 9 days ago
Seymours is my favorite Alban. Never disappoints. This needs another 5 years at least, but will last much longer
Jebs 98 point review The 2014 Seymour's comes from a higher elevation site that’s hammered by the winds off the Pacific Ocean. Classic Seymour’s all the way with its huge nose of black fruits, tobacco, ground pepper, crushed rocks, and ample meatiness, this beauty hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a deep, layered mid-palate, building tannins, and a great finish. While the Seymour’s is always the most backward and austere of the three single-vineyard Syrahs, the forward nature of the 2014 vintage shows in the wine’s texture and slightly more charming, forward character. Nevertheless, this brilliant Syrah will cruise for 20+ years in cold cellars.@Somm David T — 16 days ago

Another new Bacigalupi, at least for me. I bought 3 each of the 16 & 21.
16’s are a bit oxidized so not seeing the ability to age like Rudd & Edge Hill bottling’s of BG — 20 hours ago
