Shirokuro Savigny-lès-Beaune Blanc de Noirs 2018

Pale salmon. Peachy salinity. Peach blossoms. Good texture. Cute wine. Wish I bought more back then. Chisa Bize’s Blanc de Noir from 100% Pinot Noir. — 13 hours ago

Savigny-lès-Beaune Chardonnay 2008

Aged and amber color. Really liked the aged taste. Wine transitions to water after some time. — a month ago

Les Champlains Bourgogne Blanc Chardonnay 2019

2022/8/28-30. I understand this contains at least some amount of Pinot Beurot. This starts out reminiscent of bruised apple cider - there’s a bit of a burnished, earthy, oxidative note. There’s plenty of intensity and personality, but for a while it seems a little rough and ready. It’s only on the second day, towards the end, and at a higher temperature than you’d think would work, that more elegance, minerality and depth are revealed. Fascinating. — 3 months ago

Les Marconnets Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2018

Reticent at first but blossomed on Day 2. Fruit gained definitions ne the earthiness was more balanced. — a month ago

Aux Vergelesses Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Pinot Noir

This was tasted against Kutch single-vineyard Pinots and I though they won out for sure.

Savigny-les-Beaune Pinot Noir 2019

2022/10. This was a bit wilder than I’m used to for this wine - perhaps a bit reduced as well. It was probably just young as it improved with air but ideally needs a couple of years. — 22 days ago

Les Perrières Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2019

2022/8/28-29. This starts off so primary, dark and wild - it’s only towards the end of the second day that it reveals more elegant, perfumed, redder fruit and flowers. There’s really quite a lot here for this appellation - as much as I’ve had. — 3 months ago
