Made in a small town at foot of Sierra Cantabria in the DO. A single variety Tempranillo from 50 year old vines has a deep Ruby red color and aged for 18 months in French and American oak. Aromas of red fruit and spice. On the palate ripe black fruit, fine tannins, well balanced with a medium+ finish ending with fruit, spice and some oak notes. Nice! — a month ago

No decanter or nothing for this one I’m just raw dogging it the way it was meant to be.
The nose is so much cherry very bold with a touch of earthiness. I could live in this glass forever just smelling it and be happy.
The palate is powerful and grips like crazy. It has an acidity to it that’s lasts forever. More cherry with cranberry and it has this nice juiciness to it that makes your mouth water after each sip and the finish seems to go on forever. I think I want to marry this wine.
After the wine had been open for a while it developed a black licorice note on the nose and I just can’t get enough of this one. — 2 months ago
