Ebon and inscrutable, lacing showing creamy curtain to cosmic shatter; coffee ice cream colored. Moist, rum raisin cake baking alongside Black Forest cake with walnuts. Heavy lavender in a rough cut oak crate, makes this smell really beautiful. Vanilla and caramel chocolates entice. Bakers dark unsweetened chocolate, tastes of aniseed, clove, nutmeg, peppercorn; the whole toasty barrel. Burnt fig, cinnamon, espresso bean, with a clear charred oak concealing allspice and malt, in line with its working spirit. Impressive beer, evoking coal and tar pits with its smoky, austere reimagining of dark vulcan arts. Not a sweet one, but fiery and thick on the edges of the cauldron. — 13 days ago
